Meta product warranty

  1. We grant a 15 year limited warranty for all Meta purchased products. It shall enter into force from the date of delivery and refers to material or manufacturing defects. We reserve the right to replace a faulty product.
  2. The mattresses and slat bed bases are designed as bed systems, therefore made strictly for one another. If a Meta mattress is combined with a bed base that is not suitable, we can not accept requests for warranty services.
  3. For the first 3 years from the date of purchase, if the latex layers sink for 2cm or more we offer a full warranty on all Meta’s products. Within this period we remedy all damages related to material or manufacturing defects through free replacement, if the product can not be repaired. From the third year from the date of purchase a progressive warranty enters into force, related to the selling price according to the following chart: 1st year 100%, 2nd year 100%, 3rd year 80%, 4th year 60%, 5th year 40%. The recognized amount is deducted from the purchase price of the new mattress. The purchaser is charged with transportation costs for the return of the item to the headquarters. Following our service under warranty, the current warranty period is not interrupted and a new one is not started.
  4. The following items are covered by a 3 year warranty: Natural Latex Pillows and cushions. Bed Frame , Divan.
  5. The following are excluded from warranty conditions: defects due to inappropriate treatment or use (use of force, overload, changes made by the purchaser, inadequate bearing plan). Defects caused by natural wear. Mattress covers and handles and other upholstery made of fabric. Traces of dirt, e.g. mold stains and/or organic liquids. Indirect damages.

Warranty rights can be requested at the official Meta store where the purchase was made or at Meta headquarters in the case of an online purchase made through the website www.metabedding.com. The right is certified through the warranty booklet, the receipt or invoice confirming the purchase.

Does all items sold by Meta have warranty?

In the interests of hygiene, not all items sold by Meta includes a warranty. Only Mattresses, Baby Mattresses and Toppers are covered by a Limited Warranty.

What are the conditions of a Limited Warranty?

The Limited Warranty must be valid, all labels must be intact and the original purchase receipt will be required as proof of purchase.

What is covered by the Limited Warranty?

The extent of the Limited Warranty covered by each product category is described in the Warranty Guidelines.

What is the duration of my Limited Warranty?

Each Limited Warranty is valid from the date of purchase or delivery and lasts for the number of years stated against the product.

How do I receive Warranty service?

To receive warranty service, kindly contact us at warranty@metabedding.com with your proof of purchase, along with information regarding your inquiry, and we will assist you along the process.

What is the Warranty service process?

With your cooperation, we will conduct an evaluation to examine if the Product is covered under its Limited Warranty. We will then, at our choice, either send the defective Product for repairs or replace it with the same or a comparable Product.

How long will this process take?

We try and process repairs as quickly as possible. Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time set by the manufacturer.

Are there any charges incurred by me?

The cost of repair will depend on the Warranty terms of each Product. The cost of transportation for repair is to be borne by you, alternatively, you may arrange your own transportation to the manufacturer.

What are excluded in the Limited Warranty?

  • Goods that are not covered under the Limited Warranty and customised Goods.
  • Goods that have been used inappropriately, abused, misused, mishandled, altered or cleaned improperly.
  • Normal wear and tear, consequential or incidental damages.
  • Goods that have been placed outdoors, under direct sunlight, or used for non-domestic purposes.
  • Goods deemed unsuitable for users’ intended purpose.
  • Mattress fabric is not covered under warranty.

Does my 100% Pure Natural Latex product require special care?

Yes, due to the high quality natural ingredients used in producing the goods, special care must be given to products with 100% Pure Natural Latex. We recommend using a mattress or pillow protector and cleaning the bedding covers regularly.

How do I keep my 100% Pure Natural Latex products in good shape?

Regular low suction vacuuming on the surface of the product will help maintain the product in good condition for lasting use.

Can I sun my 100% Pure Natural Latex products?

No. 100% Pure Natural Latex is sensitive to direct sunlight and head. You are advised not to expose your 100% Pure Natural Latex to harsh conditions that may jeopardise the quality of the product.

How to I remove spills and stains?

Treat spills and stains as soon as possible by spot cleaning. Gently scrape away any soil or mop away liquid from the surface of fabric and wipe with a damp cloth using mild soap with warm water. Allow to dry thoroughly before reuse. Do not saturate the fabric or interior with water or other cleaning liquids. Do not use any type of chemical liquid.

Can I dry clean the products?

No. Dry clean, spin or tumble dry is not advisable for any Meta 100% Pure Natural Latex products.

What about 100% Pure Natural Latex Pillows, can they be washed?

Yes. Most of our pillows can be washed, simply follow the care instruction label on each pillow for cleaning.
